Think we'll ever have a fest in which no one dies?

I think we had 11 in this fest that died or were dead plus a spaceship full of aliens (umpteen) of them.

Hmmm, have we had a fest where not one single person died?

Apparently the primary colours of screenwriting are sex and violence, or a derivative. So get rid of one and you're basically left with pornfest.

Charli you dirty ******** we all know what you want!

Dark - if you've been reading the banter between ZaZa and I it's all skin and lace - ha ha.

I think you can have a weapon and no one dies, but to have the requirement that "no one will die" in the fest I think is intriguing. Go to any film festival and watch the first series of short films, there are more deaths here than in the entire Malibu Film Festival I went to where there was only one violent scene. So maybe as a group we use death as a crutch.

Hey, I'm guilty too. I killed off both the characters in this fest.

I really think a film with no death would be very interesting fest indeed.

Noel - "Chasing Kangaroos" is a great example of how you can drive a story without the death crutch. Cool flick.

... to have the requirement that "no one will die" in the fest I think is intriguing. .

Ok so my first idea would be a slo-mo montage of many different characters trying to commit suicide, but failing with ineptitude. I think it would be called "Try Hard 2 : (don't) die harder". The tagline will be 'you will die laughing'

I'll be disqualified if someone actually does though.

"The Nobody Dies Fest" - No Weapons, No Dead or UnDead, No Near Death - The fest of all fests.

Okay, maybe that's taking it too far. If you call it Snooze Fest, then there's Grumpy Fest, Dopey Fest, Sneezy Fest...

To play devil's advocate, how about Death Fest. Every single character introduced in the film must die.
Oh wait, that sounds like all my films.
