Hmmm. I don't know, according to MyHeritage, the top two matches returned for JDS were:

Shoko Asahara

Charles Manson

But the best one was:

Therese of Lisieux!

heheh, well of course that is not actually my headshot. nor is it current,

that was the "before" pic I snapped with my cellphone before I got my hair cut short and shaved my beard about two weeks ago.

My GF likes the mad professor look so I may grow it back.

Come on! Let's do PastFest, where every movie has to take place at least 50 years or more in the past! We'd get westerns, medieval, gangster, ancient, etc.

How about a opposite genre/filmmaker mash-up?

Examples:

A romantic comedy in the style of Martin Scorsese?
A sci-fi film in the style of Merchant/Ivory?
A horror film in the style of John Hughes?
A costume drama in the style of Michael Bay?
A family comedy in the style of Eli Roth?

Etc., etc.

But we Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiike the scary movies.

What would YOU like to see? Any suggestions to go along with that thumbs-down?

Not to be a party pooper, but I vote thumbs down to the idea of another horror-like fest. We've already done two of them, and it seems like there's a lot of other directions we can go before we start rehashing old Fest themes/genres.

I say action or horrorfest till october....and then sci-fest 2 over the winter.

Sci-fest just feels like a winter thing more than the fall does.

Agreed. I am not even a big horror fan.
