^^ Ayup. Horror-Fest turned out some extremely nice entries, as well. Something with a Halloween theme would be good.

You know, why do Zombies get all the press here? There are an awful lot of good and capable OTHER undead. What about vampires? What about ghosts? What about Lazarus? I say: Lazarus-Fest, all the way! :zombie_smiley:

there's almost no genre or theme we could pick that would preclude them from making a musical, y'know?

nor a genre that would preclude zombies and vampires as we have seen in adfest.

Theoretically all of those would fit into Zombie fest. It was expanded to mean any kind of undead + the category of Zombie that is not undead - chemically mutated undead-like human. So vampires would have been welcome. I think maybe we got one Vampire movie.

The thing with Zombies, unlike wearwolves (not undead I know, just using for comparison) is that zombies are well within most of our production means, whereas werewolves would be stretching it.

Having said that, maybe "Undead fest" would be a good idea. People could revisit Zombies if they wanted to but Vampires and maybe even ghosts would be welcome too. It would basically be horrorfest with no serial killers at that point. Even Jason or Freddy type ghoulies would be admissible since they are some type of dead human boogie men, right?
