DRI - a film by Michael Anthony Horrigan

Denis was great! We got it wrapped tonight. I may need one or two more shots... maybe. I'll have to see what comes of the edit.

I know a local guy who may be able to do the two SFX shots I need but if anyone here is interested please let me know ASAP! A PM would be fine.

I'm tired. :)

I'm moving this week so I'm pretty much screwed if I need to go back and shoot too much. :nads:

I enjoy helping out, and am starting to get a feel for how things flow, so I can be more productive later on when lending a hand. But Mike is the one doing the real work.

What he said.... I wish there were more people like you in my area.

Yipes ! Your area would see a dramatic increase in weirdness...trust me.

Thanks, Denis! You were a big help though. Just having an extra pair of hands to grab a cable or hold the boom is far more than I usually have.
Not sure if you learned anything.... maybe what NOT to do. :D

When we got Jen's voice, I told her to make sure not to make noise with the script pages as she read the lines. She looked at me with a "I've done this before you know".

There were no rocks in your kitchen for me to crawl under.
LOL!

Edit: What I meant by 'what NOT to do' is to not make the same mistakes that I do. :)

Playing with curves a bit too much maybe.

UPDATE: Got the first couples of minutes done, roughly half the movie. Most of the sound design for the opening as well. Now off to edit the second half.

Then to Herman for his magic touch while hopefully some FX shots are being worked on simultaneously.

PS - Packing blows!

Full edit now complete. Just have to polish the back end.
Came in well under time, around 4 minutes to be exact.

Getting the keys to the new house tomorrow so I'll be busy cleaning/fixing it up this week. I'll let this sit for a bit and then go back again with fresh eyes.

I'll be making make some changes in the flow before handing it over for Scoring/FX.
I just need it to sit for a bit first and then fix the minor details that start to nag at me.

Glad to see you've completed the edit. Completing this while preparing for a move is quite something.

I tip my virtual bald-spot hiding hat to you
