DRI - a film by Michael Anthony Horrigan

:huh::huh:

O.K., what happened to the Hotel....this is a completely different film...yes?
You haven't been keeping up with the updates in post #2 have you. :)

Yah, I had to drop the other one for a multitude of reasons. Had a breakthrough with a new script and managed to get all my ducks in a row.
I should be able to pull it off.

Thanks!

Are you officially out now? No last minute entry? There's still time....
Not much, I know.

Well I was working on a little idea I liked to call, " Untitled Mummy Hooker Project"...but thought enough was enough...you know, with the Mangina and all?

Plus...it's hard to find a good mummy bobble-head!

I"m glad your putting your film into motion. I thought the house move was going to put damper on your plans.

I just want to thank fellow member; Denis Haineault, for coming out and lending a hand tonight. I've been doing nothing but looking over what we shot tonight and I'm REALLY happy thus far. I was shooting with nothing but existing practical lights around the house and so far so good.

He was great at lending a hand anywhere that was needed. Much appreciated!
Hopefully we'll wrap things up tomorrow.

Cheers,

MAH

That sounds cool. There's a lot you can do with practicals if you are wise DP. And, there is no better genre to pull off that type of lighting. I'm sure it will have a unique, moody look to it. I know you will pull off commendable job. You haven't let me down yet.

Here's a grab from tonight. Still playing with the grading.

Can't see the grab (at work again), but will check it out tonight. Glad to see you got some filming done!! This competition is gonna' be SICK with competition.

Big thanks to Mike for having me over.

I really enjoyed meeting you and Ian (the dude in front if the camera). I always get a kick out of watching the director/actor interaction during a shoot, and for the first time, I got to see it live as opposed to the bonus material on a DVD :)

Looking forward to seeing the end result.

My pleasure. Hopefully you can make it out tonight.
One scene that we shot will have to be redone. Didn't come out as well as I wanted.
Won't take too long though and I can shoot it with just the lead if need be.

Everything else was perfect.

Denis, glad to see you helping Mike out. He's got skills and too often (like most of us here) ends up having to do most, if not all of the work himself. Appreciatcha' man.

What he said.... I wish there were more people like you in my area.
