AG-DVX200 4K Large-Sensor Handheld Camcorder

this camera looks intriguing, but that red has got to go. It's not as cool as they think it is. the new JVC looks much more impressive.

i don't mind the red, and i think it's very intentional, it's no secret that cameras are buzzwords, and what better way to make a camera recognizable then spilling a red can of paint over half of it

I was thinking the same thing, Darren. So many handheld cameras look just alike at first glance. The red on this will make it instantly recognizable as a DVX. Actually a very smart move. And the look is growing on me.

I don't think it looks that bad. The only problem I have with it is that it might evoke an XL-1s. :)

I don't mind it either... I almost lost my lunch though with the XL1S comment.. haha... eww..
Seriously.. the camera actually looks good IMHO... a little cheesy with the carbon but the red looks nice.

I really like the way the DVX200 looks, red and all.

I just want to know if it will perform better in low light than a GH4 with a 35-100 f/2.8 lens. If so, I'm very interested.

:54 mark of the video. AVC Ultra at 444. He most likely made a mistake but that would be awesome if it was true. Reps are humans too and mistakes can happen sometimes.

Here I am hoping that it shoots to at the very least 10 bit and 422 and while watching the video I'm hearing AVC Ultra at 444. Thoughts to myself. "WHAT!" It's a good thing I wasn't drinking my juice at that time or I probably would have chocked.

Grah. AVC-U on SD cards? Unlikely as crap... but who knows? And people wonder how rumor sites get things so wrong... they probably talk to people in marketing.
