I notice action cams like One R or gopro can do this seamlessly in camera. I was searching for similar apps on Android platform, but it seems ALL of those apps have not been updated for years.
I have a very capable P40 Pro with me - any suggestions on how I can use it to make a great looking...
Source = 4k60p HEVC from Huawei P40 Pro
Proxy attached = 720p Cineform
Preview Resolution = 1/8
RAM allowed = 29Gb
When scrubbing to & fro on the latest Premiere Pro CC, it lags pretty badly. This doesn't make sense because I have another rig on 6600k + 16Gb + GTX750 and it scrubs nicely...
Using it for zoom meetings and occasional tutorial video recordings. I know they are different animals altogether, but what is the closest match I can get? To be used in an untreated room, budget <150.
I have my green screen, but I'm also thinking of a quick & dirty method I can use to vlog at home & post on youtube without doing too much in post-production.
Other than VCam, is there any better alternative to replacing my background easily (preferably LIVE, if not post is fine too)? There...
For Skype/Zoom/GMeet meetings - why is it that when I plug a VideoMicro ►(Mic Line In port, detected as External Mic) ► Zoom H1N ► MicroUSB to PC ► PC, it doesn't record anything?
Seems that I can only use the internal H1N mic instead of any external mic, or am I doing something wrong?
Hi guys,
I currently use a Zoom H1N for my Zoom meetings / podcasts. Was just wondering:
1. How much will SQ improve if I add on the VideoMicro to my H1N?
2. How will this Combination compare against the Blue Yeti, and why is the Yeti so popular?
3. Any alternative to recommend for the BEST...
Asking because I am going to use it primarily on a smartphone. Will it bypass the sucky pre-amps and rely on its own for the sound?
Also, will it be a worthy upgrade from the videomicro? I listened to all the video reviews on Youtube, and it didn't sound very different on my Edifier 1600T3.
Assuming I am using the same mic - Rode VideoMicro on all of these devices. How much better is the preamp (really) on the H1N vs phones/mirrorless cams?
Hi,
My recent project requires me to do a 1-man course talk through with various focal lengths. I currently have the RODE VideoMicro and Zoom H1. Would like to ask the following:
1. What price should I be paying for a decent LAV?
2. What is the difference between say, Deity W.Lav vs Boya M1...
Saw this on Philip Bloom's page

I just bought a GoPro 7 and it has a time warp feature, but it looks extremely different (artificial), as it is simply speeded up video that's stabilised. How do I make it look more natural just...
As above. I am looking for a quick way to:
1. Throw in a bunch of X images
2. Based on number of images and number of beats in the audio track, extend the duration of each image till it fits the track
I know this can be done manually, but this is going to take me quite some time when I have...
Sorry, couldn't find a more appropriate sub-forum to post this in.
There is no lack of good examples for polished travel videos / music videos etc, but how about polished Family videos with kids? Most of the youtube channels I checked out have high viewership but with amateur content. For...
Is there such a thing - similar to Actions in Photoshop CC?
My objective is to re-create transitions (e.g. fast zoom in/out) and there are multiple steps to the process, such as the example given here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSzri2HvyF4
If I cannot create a macro, is there anywhere...
As above. I am a 1 man show and only have 1 audio source. When it comes to PP, i tag on background music to it. Is there any way the auto-ducking feature can work to DETECT dialogue in my main audio track and duck it? Currently it simply ducks everything if it's purely based on audio level.
I'm currently using the VideoMicro for run-and-gun, 1-man shooting. Love the size and weight, but audio (especially vocals) could have higher clarity. Is there any other brand in the same "category" as the VideoMicro with much higher SQ, for use with my A7Rii?
2 Scenarios:
1. Quickly preview all my footage and assemble the "cut" version, then send only the "cut" version to convert to proxies in Premiere Pro CC, for further editing/coloring
2. Trim clips from S7 and stream-copy AV based on time selected from each clip (rather than transcode them)...
As above - is there any app that I can use to make my phone function like a SmallHD field monitor for filming purposes? Would be great if I can have 1 less equipment to worry about.
