I have a gig tomorrow that is going to be filmed on two separate camera's for 2 separate purposes:
Camera 1 (Canon HFS100) will be recording a presentation, and that recording will later be shown as a training video for the company. I am going to edit in the power point so that it looks better...
Edit: I was able to import the project into after effects, and render from there, but I'm still interested in finding out what happened, so if you know, please answer below. Thanks!
OK, normally I don't freak out about stuff, but this is one of those times where you put so much effort into...

OK, so I bought a canon t2i, and then realized for the stuff I'm about to start doing I need a different camera, so it has to go. The camera is in new condition. When you take it out of the box, you won't be able to tell that it isn't a brand new camera. The manuals and CD's are still...
OK, I know the 60D hasn't been out long, but since the audio improvements are one of the reasons everyone is liking these for video, I'm wondering if anyone has compared the quality of the 60D audio to that of a consumer grade camcorder, such as the HV20 or something similar. I know that the...

Hollywood camera work DVD's. I bought these about a year ago from someone on these boards, and haven't made it through even the first disc, there is so much information there. At this point I don't think I'm ever going to get around to watching them, so up for sale. $175 shipped.

Jag35 35mm adapter. This is the static model with the Opteka achromat upgrade, but has been modified to be a vibrating adapter compatable with a shrigg rig. The battery pack velcros to the adapter, or you can pull it off so the adapter can be clamped down and you can velcro the battery...
Hey there all you Michael Jackson fans (this is a Thriller competition, correct?)
I'm a composer and I want to be involved in this fest. Here are a couple of samples of my work:

I've come to a lull in my regular work, so I want to start writing music for films again. I'm looking for anyone who has a short film and need some music.
I can do pretty much any style, and have written orchestral, jazz, rock, metal, techno, hip hop, latin, you name it! I even do musicals...
We tore down a film projector, and have some lenses to get rid of. I have 2 of each of these, and will sell them to whoever puts in the best offer. I don't know if they can be used with a 35mm adapter, I'll leave that up to people who understand lens optics better than I do.
(2) Schneider...
I picked up cineform Neoscene to make AVCHD editing easier on my PC. I have noticed on some of the footage captured from my HFS100 that the deeper colors don't look quite as deep after running neoscene. Is this something I am doing wrong, or is this normal?
Hey there ya'll,
I'm looking to participate in this fest, so if any of you are looking for a composer, let me know! I can send you links to some stuff in different styles, or you can just take a look on my website (although much of it is jingles and the like)
If you are interested in talking...
I'm working on a music video, and I have clips that come up multiple times. I edited everything in Premiere Pro, and imported to After Effects. Each cut is on a separate layer. I need to go through and color correct each shot so that it matches, and then to some FX work and secondary color...
I understand using premiere's multicam feature to edit when you have 4 clips that are synched up, but how do you go about editing when you have a lot more? Let's say you are doing a music video with 18 clips all lined up. How do you cut between all of them and keep them synched? I tried just...
I won 2 full series passes to the Seattle International Film Festival, but since we're just about to have our first kid, I know I won't be able to go and enjoy any films.
These passes will get you into any of the regular screenings, including the press screenings.
I'll sell them for the best...
I put together a video in Premier that is about 7 minutes long. I did all of the edits, and now I'm ready to do some color correction and effects.
I opened up After Effects and imported my Premiere Pro Project (I did not use dynamic link, since I need to color correct each clip separately)...
Hey there ya'll,
I'm looking to participate in this fest, so if any of you are looking for a composer, let me know. I don't know that I am interested in doing a more traditional western score, but something like the score to Serenity, or something modern with a hint of western to it sounds...
I'm putting together a short video for work, and before I get to the really important interviews, I'm hoping I can get some feedback as to how to improve on the results I am getting now. Do I need different lighting? Position the people differently? More cowbell?
Here is a link to some of...
I'm doing a short memorial type of video for my department, and there is no budget, so I have to use what we've got. I'm good on the video part, but the audio is tripping me up, primarily because I do a TON of work in recording studio's, but haven't done any real video work yet, and the methods...
I'm starting to get into composing for films (rather than the jingles and pop productions I am doing now), and looking to see if there is anyone out there who wants some music for one of their shorts. Alternately, if someone has a completed film, but wouldn't mind sending me a video file of it...
I picked up a 28mm 2.8 FD lens to use with a Jag35 adapter. The vignetting is not very good. I don't have the same issue with my 50mm lens. I am wondering if going with a 24mm lens would work out better, or am I going to have the same issues? I don't want to throw down a big chunk of money...
