Composer looking for short films for practice

[markblasco]

I'm starting to get into composing for films (rather than the jingles and pop productions I am doing now), and looking to see if there is anyone out there who wants some music for one of their shorts. Alternately, if someone has a completed film, but wouldn't mind sending me a video file of it without the music (so I can practice), that would also be very helpful.

I don't know how much time I will be able to put into this over the next month or two, so I'm not looking for any projects that are near completion and have a firm deadline. I just want an opportunity to practice, and in the process possibly help someone out who needs some music. It could also be an opportunity for someone with a completed film to hear a different interpretation of their film via different music.

So, if you are interested, please just shoot me a PM and let me know.

I'm hoping to do a couple of shorts over the next month to build up my skills and portfolio before I start trying to make any money off of this.

Here's a couple of music samples (although I do a pretty big range of styles for my jingle/podcast work, so what I do for your film may not match up exactly):
