Is 24mm any better than 28mm on Jag adapter?

I picked up a 28mm 2.8 FD lens to use with a Jag35 adapter. The vignetting is not very good. I don't have the same issue with my 50mm lens. I am wondering if going with a 24mm lens would work out better, or am I going to have the same issues? I don't want to throw down a big chunk of money on a different lens only to find out it has the same issues.

If any of you have any experience with this, I would love to hear it. Thanks!

Wider lenses vignette more, but one factor that affects vignetting is the size of the rear element. My FD 24mm f2 vignette less than my 24mm f2.8 because of this, so you should look into getting faster lenses.

Interesting, so do you think I might be OK if I found an FD 28mm f2 (rather than the 24mm?)

Possibly, although adapter design can have an impact on vignetting too so I can't say the same for the Jag.
