I'm rendering my movie which is approx. 96 min. long and when I get the audio and the video rendered the video comes out to about 4.4 G so when I put the audio in (DVD Architect) my movie will no longer fit onto a single DVD.
What should I do to get the best quality video and audio that I can...
So I just did a screening of some of my footage for my cast and had a pretty darned good video project (brand new to boot) and most all of the footage we shot EXT. NIGHT or INT. darkish lighting was nearly unseeable. It was too dark to see all the detail. Beyond the embarassment it was...
Okay, so reading the instructions for getting my files rendered and compressed for DVD Architecht (I've got Vegas 5 and DVD Archi 2) it tells me I'll be rendering the MPEG-2 using the DVD Architect 24p NTSC video stream template which is only the video and then I'll have to render the audio as...
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but, when I'm all done I'd like to be able to make a film print of my project. Where can I get information on what I need to do to make that realistic?
This may seem a dump question but here goes:
I've shot footage on DVX100 on the 24pa setting. If I use another camera that isn't a 24p camera when I'm capturing does this do anything to the raw footage? Does the deck or camera matter when capturing or will the look be the same since it was...
If I have two different projects and I want to merge them into one project what would I do? If for instance I have two editors, one working on act 1 of a project and I'm working on act two, when we're ready to put the acts together into one project, what do we do?
I understand that if I Save As my project to a new location (for instance my external HD) and I select the option to copy and trim all media files that the new, saved version at this new location will have only the portion of each media file that is used in the project plus however many frames...
This is probably a dumb one but I can't figure out how to have Vegas capture video to my external HD. I originally captured to my internal HD but now I've got an external HD and don't know how to tell the capture to go there instead of my internal.
Basic, I imagine, but how do I do this?
I asked before but got no responses so I don't know if my question was unclear or there is no answer. Any insight or help is greatly appreciated though.
When I captured my video, some clips have a video glitch, or pop, or crackle (in fact there is always an audible "crackle" when it happens)...
I've tried everything I can think of and I'm at a loss. I've cleaned the heads on my camera, unplugged everything but my machine and the camera and still when I capture clips there are these little glitches that pop on some frames. When I do the recapture sometimes I get lucky and get the clip...
Okay, so I made my sound guy get Vegas just to simplify things but I've now run into another puzzle. If I'm going through my project and doing the final edit and want to turn over all my scenes that I've "locked" and my sound editor starts doing his work on the dialogue, what is the best...
Okay, I've ready everything in the help files and the manual and I think I am going insane. I want to change a particular color within a clip without changing any of the other colors. For instance, a guy has a red shirt on and I want to change it to a blue shirt, without anything else...
Is it possible to do a picture-in-picture with Vegas (v5)? I would like to have one video clip running full frame and then lay over it a smaller video window in the corner running another video clip. Is this possible and how do I do it?
My sound editor is going to be working on my project's sound using software other than Vegas. Here is what we plan to do:
1) As I get a final cut of each scene I will give him the scene files as edited so he can work on the sound
2) he does his work then gives the sound back to me
3) I put the...
Hey all, new here and to Vegas but I'm up and running and making tons of progress.
However, I have a total of about 21-22 hours of footage I need to capture and my hard drvie won't hold it all. I can't afford another HD or an external at this time. To clear space I know I can dump all the...
