Fitting my movie onton a DVD

I'm rendering my movie which is approx. 96 min. long and when I get the audio and the video rendered the video comes out to about 4.4 G so when I put the audio in (DVD Architect) my movie will no longer fit onto a single DVD.

What should I do to get the best quality video and audio that I can and still fit my movie onto 1 DVD and have enough room to put a trailer and a few out takes? If I have to make a custsomer template, what setting should I do?

I'm currently rending it as "Best" rather than "Good" BTW.

Thanks

"Best" and "good" don't change the file size.

Easy would be to drop the .avi files right into DVD-A and let it auto compress them for you. That should come out alright.

Other then that, I know there are online calculators for this kind of thing but I would just render as 2-pass VBR with a average bit rate of 6,000,000 or so (that might be to much) and the max not much higher, AC3 audio and you should be fine. My mentality would be to sacrifice bit rate in the extra features if anything.
