(sorry, didn't mean to bust up your posts)

There should be an entry blank when you upload. If you didn't put it on there when you uploaded, contact a mod (Larry, Jason or Zak).

Thanks for the friendly greetings everyone! Let's see if Larry gets things going before I go to bed here in Sweden. (Monday ETA: 3 minutes)

This was just creepy, all that coughing... it made me sick! It was very effective in adding to the claustraphobia of the car ride.
I like that we didn't know anything but that humans were hosting this... alien i assume? Great shot when the guy gets pulled back in the car,
and all you see is his feet. Less and more, it totally worked. Beautiful cinematography, the countryside at the end was eerie. Well done, I watched it twice.

LOVED it! I almost wish you actually used that song on the radio, the one after the credits.
If that was playing during the big scene it would have added a whole new level of creepiness for me. And yes, I'm serious. :)

This was extremely well done. Simple, but very well executed and it didn't leave me scratching my head.

Great work.

REVIEW!

A really fun film to watch, definitely enjoyed it.

What I liked - The story was nice and simple, you didn't overdo it, and that goes a long ways in these short fests. Your sound was very well done, and your cinematography was pretty solid throughout. Your acting seemed pretty good (though as stated in another thread, with subtitles, and not speaking the language, it is hard for me to really critique acting) I really liked the shot inside the car from behind the two men. I liked that you could see the road clearly, it was very unsettling, and as the viewer I felt sort of "out of control" as would the passenger. However I have a gripe about this shot as well below.

What I didn't like as much - When the man starts driving off the main road as a hitchhiker I would assume things are going south pretty quickly. I didn't get that feeling from the passenger, I think he was too calm. Now about that shot I liked, the negative impact is that I was drawn to the road in the windshield, and in turn was distracted from the subtitles. Just a minor complaint but something you might want to think about. Also, in the beginning when he gets into the car, I think there was too much "moving around in the seat of the car noise" Though that is getting pretty detailed and was not a huge deal. Just my opinion.

Overall I really liked the film, it was great to watch, both visually and audio wise, and a nice simple story. Good work!

We actually did consider using the Pippi theme. It would have added to the feeling but it would perhaps have been confusing, whether it was movie music or something playing from the car radio. Why would the demon play that Georg Riedel song...?

(..) it didn't leave me scratching my head.
Our biggest concern was actually how to make the story intelligible. We were worried that maybe it seemed as if the hitchhiker actually conquered the driver after all, instead of being taken over by that demon. Probably some pre-understanding is required... Having watched some SF movies or TV series about extraterrestrials taking over human bodies, it's all quite clear.

Living in a non-English speaking part of the world, we're pretty used to reading subs. We'll probably never consider that aspect if making more films together...
