Excellent! Another B&W film in the fest. Love it! Looks like we're going to have more than a few.

Looking forward to watching your film.

The film is not black and white... just a portion is... and most of that portion is just stills. But I love Black and white.... will post some screen grabs soon.

Honestly, it wasn't the best looking film, but I really liked your story telling. The setup during the first part, via the old photographer was very cool. I thought the soundtrack was decent too. Your monster... well, he was a little less than scary, but I still enjoyed it!

Thanks for watching! The film isn't the best quality because of the compression. I'm using Adobe Premiere 1.5 and spent 2 nights trying to get it under 50MB... This is the only one that was. But atleast you can see it... My first dvxfest, next year I am upgrading to new editing software. It's a shame that EX footage has to look like this.

The one actor was very believable in the delivery of his dialogue, the driver however seemed uncomfortable.

Driving down a dirt road that is unlit is pretty generic as was the creature, but at least we understood what was going on in the story.

I really liked this entry. The first half was great! The second half was pretty good as well. How many movies have you made?

The storytelling is what sold me on this one. The characters were believable and the story sucked me right in. There's always a few gems in every fest and this is one of them.

I want to see what you come up with next fest! Make sure you return.

Cheers,

MAH

I'm sorry, but I liked it in a 'this guy is going for cheese' way. I'm sure you going for groans and laughs. Which is an admirable goal and in that regard you succeeded. Good Job.

Thankyou very much! I've made a few movies, but not since I've left school (2 years ago). This was sort of my return to short filmmaking as I am normally a news videographer. I will definately enter the nextfest after this being so much fun.

I liked this one because the story didn't break up or flow strangely. A better production value would have made this stand out more. It could have been the compression that did that but I think lighting could have used a little more spice. It kept my interest through the whole short which is good and the acting was really good too. Nice job!
