C200: Shipping Date

Guessing those are all C200s and not C200Bs?? Terry, I don't want to loose my place in line at B&H, but if you guys end up with an extra C200B before B&H ships, I'd gladly move my order!

Ah, forgot to mention that. Yes, regular C200, no kit. I updated my original post.
 
I just called Adorama and checked on my preorder. Was told they don't know when they're getting them and they can't tell me my place in line. The guy who I placed the order with did say that at the time (7/28) they had more coming in than had been allocated so I should be in the first shipment, but who knows when that'll be...

This is why I like ordering from smaller companies like Texas Media Systems or Professional Video: you can talk to someone who actually knows something about your order. The big NYC companies are great for smaller items but for big things, I much prefer the smaller local shops. Well, local local-ish.

Me too, but I ended up trading my A kit for the C200. I'd initially ordered from Texas Media Systems.

@Terry Nixon I called texas media systems just now and the person I talked to said that they had no date available on when the c200 will be in stock and that canon is keeping it close to their vest. I would like to order from you guys, but can we get an update on if they are going to be shipped soon?
 
Hmmm, I too haven't heard anything from B&H. Ordered the day it was announced as well. Here is hoping it will be processed this week.
 
I just heard back from someone who has more access at Adorama that they're showing 8/13 as the date they'll get them in, but was quick to note that the date can change in either direction and they never really know for sure. Hopefully it will be another week or less.

Yeah they close Saturday (and early on Friday) for religious reasons, so if it comes on a Saturday no one would be there to receive it. Actually makes sense that both B&H and Adorama would have Sunday deliveries thinking about it...
 
Any updates on shipping from anyone? I called a bunch of places today. Samy's says they aren't sure when they are getting them, Adorama said 8/13, and BH said they aren't sure. Working with pro video in Oregon to see when they might be getting them in. The B version is available on BH though.

B&H told me mid to late August is when I should be expecting my C200.
