"Invocation" - a Tommy Merry/T Studios Film

All you need is a close up of someone watching them run off, then looking back. You could set that up easy enough, even after all this time, right?

Really enjoyed this film...great job all around. The story was solid, the acting was good, great camera work, nice job on the VFX...what can I say other than well done!

If you twist my arm, I'd have to agree with the previous comments and won't rehash here. Congrats to the cast and crew!

Appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment

Actually, by sound I didn't mean the music, I meant the dialogue audio. Can't quite place it. It just sounded a bit different, not bad though.

Overall this sounded pretty good.

Hi Michael,

I was responsible for recording most or all of the dialogue. Could you elaborate a little more about what you meant regarding the dialogue audio?

WOOOHOOO!!!!

Dude, sorry couldn't watch this last week. Too many things were flying past me like I was in a circus show. the VFX looked killer! The wine glass, man, did a terrific job on this part.

Music ... so this was what you meant. Oh boy! If we had gotten that chance of recording the entire orchestra with choir, it must have nailed harder.

I've posted an entry on the writing and production of Invocation to my screenwriting blog, I Blame Ninjas, if you're interested. I'll also have a guest post by Tommy in a few days telling the story from his point of view.

If you haven't checked out Patrick's blog yet, go give it a gander, there's some good stuff on it. Patrick rocks!

Thanks to ALL for your feedback on Invocation. I have shot some new scenes and recently finished a new cut of the film as well as finished the graphics for the DVD. I'll post a link to the new version for yall soon. I hope it cleared up any ambivalence that was in the original cut ;-)

Thanks!

To all my friends and fellow filmmakers...

Check it out!! Guess what I did? I integrated all of the feedback that was a consensus among you guys, re-edited and re-shot the first segment, Then turned it into a Micro-series after there was some interest from a weekly horror TV series. The idea was to create 3 min segments.
It has played on some television in Arizona and is going to be on Some California Bay Area stations too.

Tell me what you think of the first 3 minute episodes! :)
THANKS to all for your help/feedback.

as a reminder I had created this for a DVXUser fest, but then missed the deadline. I was bummed about that originally, but things turned out great in the end. :)

Checked it out and it's looking good! The pacing is excellent and I see you added a couple of new things. I want to check out the rest of it!

Thanks Marlon, :)
Yes we went back and reshot the bathroom scene, and I edited out a few dialog lines that were bothering everyone, including me. At the end of the video it gives you the option to click to see the next episodes, or you can just go here:
