Fresh meat

Good luck, Rufus, I mean Zaza!
Thanks Charli...Rufus sends his best!

Cute chick in 70's polyester (where does Joe shop?), and a Green-Acres-meets-U-Turn slasher. Please pass the pop corn!
Goodwill... THE best store for wardrobe and props....plus the added benefit of helping people.

Great poster! So retro, so awesome.
Thanks Matt. I think I have about 7 different versions of a poster for this one.

Looking forward to this one, man. After checking out those grabs, I wish I hadn't had to sell my dvx100 back in the day. Wait ... I mean, I AM allowed to be on the site as long as I've at least previously owned one, right?

Playing catch-up now going through the threads. Honored to be entering and sharing in the Fest with people like you, Za Za. I'm pretty anxious to see what you've come up with. I'd also like to know how hard/easy it was to get your footage to the CPU.

You are always welcome here...even though you are a traitor & bailed on the one camera that started it all! Shame on you...and glad to see you back.

All you do is connect the firewire cable and capture the video (in real time)...easy. The honor's all mine, I'm just hack compared to the talent you two bring to the table!

Yes... thanks for asking Nick! The film has been done for the last 3 weeks...just waiting to see the specs for upload before making a final render.
How about you, all good?

Not quite. I am actually working with my sound guy now. Tomorrow should be the complete version and we will finalize it this weekend.

When do you think they will come down with the info for us about uploading our films?

Zaza!!! Are you kidding me right now?? That was awesome! You can tell that you've been finished with this film for as long as you have. Everything was pretty much spot on and you got plenty of coverage and all the extra shots you needed. I'm very, very impressed. Love your dolly shots and the two greatest cinematic moments in the film were the bicycle wheel spinning as the truck drives off and seeing the silhouetted bad guy standing in the barn door the first time. Love your style and editing for this film. Outstanding job. So glad to see it when filmmakers show growth and you most definitely have by leaps and bounds. You should be proud and seriously, did you shoot this on the dvx???

marlon took the words outta my mouth, real growth from you as a director. I really liked the film and especially liked the 70's exploitation vibe you went with.
