If anyone is reading this thinking about doing this, it really isn't worthwhile. The Noctua runs at a slower speed than the F35 fans, this is mainly why it is quieter. The F35 fans running at the same speeds as the Noctua produce nearly the same dB level so the quieter levels are from the rans...
I thought it might be useful to share this information. The 7Q uses a Samsung AMOLED panel, sold with Toshiba AT270. The good news is the touchscreen and OLED are all one unit and you don't have to do any crazy separation.
Panel is Samsung AMS767KC04-1
there is a slightly better contrast model...
I can repair most issues with F35 besides damage to CCD unit. If you have damaged or non-working F35 you want to sell, I will also buy any non working cameras.

7Q uses the front assembly of the Toshiba Excite 7.7. Ever wonder why that little dot is in the corner? It's the camera hole for the tablet. Also see the SmallHD OLED for the exact same panel. What does this mean? 7Q replacement screens can...
The 7Q and 7Q+ used Samsung Super AMOLED screen. I found upgraded Super AMOLED + screen also fits, but the corners of the 7q case need to be filed slightly, see photo.
1. If you don’t mind the error, just ignore it.
2. CD charges way too much to replace a standard computer clock battery. You remove the 4 screws from the corners. (Use flat tool through the SSD slot to gently push the lcd way from the case. And you will see a replaceable battery. Pop a new one...
I am shooting with F35 in New Orleans. Very humid. When I first pulled camera out from traveling from Los Angeles I had lots of weird pixels and vertical smears, one black balance solved these issues.
I turned fan to auto to keep it quiet but even after 10 mins or so the fan ramped way up but I...
Gonna try to come up with some simple shell next but light weight is more important to me than anytime of rugged protection.
The body is 6lbs. With the 7Q and the 18-35 PL it is 9lbs. I can get lighter with both and also the camera will run off Sony M batteries with D Tap so complete the...
"Low-Noise Adaptor for full flexibility
The NF-A4x10 FLX (Flexibility) is supplied with a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum fan speed from 4500 to 3700rpm so that it can be fine-tuned for superior airflow or maximum quietness."
Looks like the Low-Noise Adaptor is for max fan...
I don't think Aaveum is purposely being misleading, perhaps a little mysterious, but I think what he is saying is being misinterpreted:
"But my SR-R1 directly docks to the back or top, interfacing with the camera." - By interfacing I think he only means it is dry docked using the dock mechanism...
Nothing on the F35 can be simple or plug and play.
The original AB Plate Sold by Abelcine for 1/2 off for many years are now hard to come by. They had a thin backplate which could screw to the IFbox and then to battery plate. The downside of this plate was no DTap. Most batteries have DTap now...
I am continuing a conversation started on instagram and was wondering if any SRW-9000PL owners could contribute.
It appears the SRW-1 has some sort of built in noise reduction filter it applies to footage. I do not have side by side currently but I am almost certain this is correct based on...
I've been revisiting the speed booster the last month and can say with some confidence it is going to work. Here are some of the things I've learned:
First see the photos of the heaviest part of the F35, the back focus mechanism. You can see how much space this item takes up in between the...
I have for sale Sony F35 painted black. It is rubberized truck bed liner, looks great in different light and hides scratches. It's not perfect but it is the 3rd F35 I've painted so I think 1 of 3 Black F35's out there. This F35 was a F23, I was lucky to get 2 new looking F35 optical blocks a few...
