XEPOJ (english: "HERO")

Could be the best shot film of the fest. Not so much for the lighting or anything, more for the framing. I love the way that the DP framed the shots in this one.
The adapter you used really helped get you some nice depth in some of these scenes as well. Very nice stuff.

The acting was great and I really thought that each character played their specific role quite well. Sometimes a film just works on all levels and this is one of those times. It was a wise choice to go B&W as well.
The music was also very good. It seemed to fit really well. Listened to this again and the sound design was also pretty great. Freesound.org! I love that site and have used it myself.

I think I would have exported it a little smaller as the compression is showing it's face a bit.
Love the fact that you kept it in your native tongue and went with subtitles. Smart move.
Not much I can say about this one. One of the best of the fest for sure.

Great work.

I'm SO glad you made it to the top 3. Super Congratulations! I was worried that the foreign language would hinder your ratings, but it was so awesome and people obviously connected to it. Watched your questfest entry last night and I love that one too. Cheers!!

Thanks guys, we were really happy to enter top10 with a foreign language film, this is just... :D

@Tim Joy
We weren't at questfest, what were you watching :)

Easily the most beautiful film of the fest. This and ROM were going back and forth for that Number one spot in my book. An amazing film that I thought would win when I watched it. Great job!!

Well done. A true champion of an entry.

Thanks guys! Don't know what to say :)

Woot :)

Now watch out for Serbian cowboys, damn that will need a lot of brainstorming :)

Svaka čast tebi i cijeloj ekipi. Rasturili ste, sviđa mi se svaki segment filma.
pozdrav iz hr : )

Credits to you and the whole crew. You nailed it, I like every aspect of the film.

Great creative use of "chapters" -- you wouldn't think of it on a 6 minute film, but the chapter breaks really add to the storytelling! It's an idea you can use to really upend the style and type of story you can tell in 6 minutes.

The prizes are still not up but I have received one! :)
Kadir from handyfilmtools.com sponsored us for our next film with his handySLR after shooting "Xepoj" with his handy35! :)

New equipment is here, only couple of things left but it seems that we will make it in time for WestFest after all. Film will not be too serious, but we will make one :)
