Vaccine - Written & Directed By Matt Harris

Very well done opening. Loved the ending shot that had the digital lens flare added to it. This film did an impressive job making the atmosphere / story feel realistic. You could have taken out all the flashbacks and the film would have worked without them. Good makeup effects. Liked the twist ending with the medicine actually making them worst. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks to everyone who voted, after 8 entries, this is the first time i placed by user votings, I really appreciate it.

i thought the first 4 minutes of this were awesome. i loved the opening narration, and i thought the way you hold for so long on the guy as he returns home and does relatively mundane tasks in the kitchen as the radio plays was a great way of setting up the world.

SPOILERS. however the whole time i was hoping it wouldn't turn into another zombie movie, and then it kinda did, if only for a moment. also the wife's acting in the flashback scene i felt was a bit weak as well.

also, very minor, but don't you have to get a vaccine before you get the illness itself?

Rehov, thanks for watching and commenting. I left it ambiguous in that, whether vaccine's are a preventative measure or not, the couple was hoping the Vaccine would still help the woman in some way. Desperate people go to desperate measures in desperate times. Also, someone pointed out, Mobie540 I think, that Vaccines are not pills. I did some research and there are vaccine's that are indeed pills. But I will do better research on my concepts next time for sure. Thanks again for stopping by.

Hey now, I didn't say a thing. It was the expert Toxicologist I'm dating. And it was Keaton that said the thing about pills.

I love post apoc, be as inaccurate as you want.
