Wanted to get into another DVXfest since Westfest, we have a great team and I'm really looking forward to this!

10/16/11 - Score is done. VFX done. Sound design still in progress.

10/7/11 - gone through about 4 cuts up to this point, and we are just deciding on one shot right now. Should have a picture lock tonight!

9/1/11 Had been working on a location and got it a couple days ago which I am pretty excited about. I only have some crappy iphone pics and the shoot will be at night, but here are a few quick pictures. Don't know what parts I will be using though. (pictures now moved below)

9/23 - Wrapped shooting...it was a blast but a long night....think we got some good stuff though.

9/26/ - Just got a call from my editor...he's uploading the first cut!

Wow that location would be perfect for Anthony Todaro's 'Self Storage'. I think it's still available. That's if you end up needing a script.

I had talked to him about incandecense which was also set in a storage facility, but decided to opt out of it....great story though if anyone is in need. I recently moved to Santa Barbara, CA from Minnesota and have essentially lost all contacts for crew and cast, besides a couple. Due to that and time I think I need to keep cast minimal and just go for a good simple scary film and if im not mistaken self storage had quite a few actors required. I will check though Thanks!

Seems like we have most everything lined up. Both actors are cast, location figured out. Need to finalize the script, still need a few props. Our biggest concern right now is lighting. We have plenty of lights but the storage facility is severely lacking in places to plug in, especially for the shots outside.

maybe use an AC adapter into the cigaratte lighter into a car, and use that ac adapter to plug in lights? that's what i do time to time.

Hmmm that is definitely an option I had not thought of......How much wattage can you get in there? We might just rent a generator......I looked up some prices and they aren't that bad...40-60$ a day (but the weekend counts as one day)

Finalizing a bunch of stuff and shooting on Friday.

Question - the location says they commonly use adapters that screw into a light bulb socket to plug things I'n. Has anyone ever heard of these / know how much wattage it can take? I'd prefer not to do any damage to their property

hmmm i never heard of a light bulb socket adapter, but i'm sure if you google it or look on amazon.com they will be there for purchase. if your shoot is friday you best get on it!
