Sucker Punch

OHMYGAWD!

"Sucker Punch" is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary...with potentially tragic

This looks cool. I dunno about other people, but I'm loving this director's style, the whole in between a graphic novel and a stylized film look.

I didn't see 300, but I actually thought it worked for Watchmen.

You have never seen 300? wow. I enjoyed that.

Just put it in my Queue.

Although SuckerPunch looks like a 13-yr-old's wet dream. Hot, barely-legal chicks with swords and guns...

Have you seen that CGI with the house on the hill at the beginning?
Looks like a bloody beginners work - among the worst I ever seen in a late feature film.

Looks more like a pre production mock up. I wonder if the keep it in the movie.

Great production design thou.

I wish Zach Snyder would make an R-rated MORTAL KOMBAT film.

Yeah, they got it all.

Looks like you mix Inception and Sailor Moon with Kill Bill and than even throw in dragons, giant ninja robots, ninja nazis, medieval swords, samurai swords, thigh highs, castles, guns, WWII planes, and even more hot chicks and more thigh highs.

....hmmm - can´t find any real deal breakers in that list.

Sweet.

I still don't get the premise, but at the very least this should be a special effects bonanza.

[Erik Olson]

Premise? Really?

[David Jimerson]

I think everything you need to know about the film is pretty clear. Waiting for Godot, it ain't.

[Richard J. Johnson]

From what I saw in the latest trailer a lot of the film takes place in the minds' of the girls. They need to find 5 things to escape from the asylum or something like that.

[Cassius]

From what I understand from the premise, the filmmakers said 'what can we do that would allows us to throw whatever crazy stuff we think of at the audience?', and it ended up involving a crazy girl. Of which I approve.
