Hiya,

anyone got any ideas on resale values for UK PAL HVX200E's?

Am looking to part with my HVX as the agency I work for has one now so I can always use theirs.

Mine is 18 months old, low useage, boxed with all cables manuals and packaging, Official Panasonic bag.

Any ideas? Serious ones please.

thanks
Richard

Thanks Jim, there were no PAL uk HVX's on ebay so I couldn't gauge off of that. I've been in touch with resellers and I have the answer.

Thanks
Richard

Hello Major Morgan, how much is it? I`m really interested.
Also there is a pal-HVX on ebay right now - until tomorrow evening.
It`s now on 2576€ - so maybe it will get over 3500 I guess.

I am quite sure it will go much higher than 3500. I sold a NTSC HVX for about 3500€ six months ago on german ebay. What I learned is, everybody wants a PAL version.

What I found out was for a HVX200 PAL in the UK, 18-24 months old, boxed and in great condition sells in resellers for about £2200-£2400 dependent on the number of hours. That's about 2800€ - 3100€

Mine is low - 8 hours on the tape mechanism and 35 hours operational total.

Mine has no cards bundled with it which might be why others sell for more. I have a 4GB card to sell but that will be a seperate sale.

I'm waiting to hear back from someone who PM'd me, but if I don't hear soon I will be posting it into the for sale section.

Thanks for your help guys !

Richard
