I guess I missed all the drama of our submission woes while I instead enjoyed spending the day with my wife for our second anniversary. Glad though that everything got worked out.

Yes... all in & approved....I was wondering myself. Now it's time to wait for the viewing to start. Can't wait to see this one.

...and congratulations Jason....two years and counting....keep up the good work!
2nd anniversary is cotton, so you can get off cheap with a tee-shirt or something.
Now get ready for the 3rd one...that's LEATHER!

Rogan this was a pleasant surprise, I honestly thought you were going to do a corny jokey thing about beans and farts. Instead I got an honest and believable conversation between friends who survived a duel over a woman they both loved (right?). The acting and dialogue were subtle and relaxed and authentic, and the sound design and campfire atmosphere were spot on. You made a simple short that accomplished what it was intended to do. And i liked how the fella fell asleep at the end. Good score too. Thumbs up man.

Nicely done Rogan. Solid film. It was believable and heartfelt and actually evoked some deep emotion in me. Plus that was one fine moustache on Jason. Outstanding effort my friend. Some of the pacing felt a little off to me, but that's a personal preference in editing and style. The music played out extremely well (of course: it's a "Durban") and everything fit very well. In my personal top 10 so far (but then again I've only watched 6 of them)

Rogan, I'm really impressed with you still. I can really see your improvement as a filmmaker and that's what these fests are all about. Heck, not just a filmmaker, but an actor too. You and Jason really did an excellent job here. I really like the story and where it went and both actors were very convincing. Your wardrobe could have been a little more old west (if that's what you were going for), maybe the jeans threw it a little off. That didn't pull away from what you did though. Oh, I like the opening shot from the title to the first shot. Nice!

Rogan, (and Jason) really good job here. Quite a surprise, I must say. With the title and your history I was excepting a litany of fart jokes. Instead, I got a nice little story with some fine acting. I thought you were both excellent in the portrayal of your characters. This had a really nice tone to it.

I think you may have finally put your past foibles behind you. Good job, guys.

Nice score, Justin D.

Dustin....Jason.... excellent film! You had me right from the opening.
The first :45 is just spot on for me, the looks are great, the score was perfect, sound design,
everything. It just got better from there! I think you also nailed the pace, no rushing, smooth.

Sorry I don't really have anything negative to say....hat's off to you both & the whole crew for a job really well done! Thank you.
