The only thing I care about is the exposure; not the values that give me my exposure. I have my shutter locked at 180 degrees, and I've chosen my shots DOF by my lens and it's aperture.
What would you do differently if you were shooting in Shutter Priority mode and got 1/50th and f/11? What would you do to keep the same exposure? You already told the camera what was important to you when you picked Shutter Priority, so now you have aperture and ISO left. But why is aperture so important if you don't have the facility in your chosen operating mode to change it? I truly just don't understand the point, and I've been silently listening to your argument for months, hoping one day I would be enlightened as to the utility of this, yet I can't!
Why not just use auto ISO in manual mode and use exposure comp to set your exposure?
Or do like EVERYONE ELSE and use False Color to see what the exposure is on your subjects, and adjust aperture and ISO accordingly, because the shutter should already be at 180 degrees.

I wonder why most users feel it is not good to see what exposure camera uses. Preferred options seems to be full manual or full blind auto.
