On Our Terms - a Matthew Bennett film

Wraped the shoot last night, really happy with how it's looking. Noel's cinematography looks beautiful. Getting stuck into the edit today. Everything seems to be coming together, the advantage of good pre-prod I suppose. I may even have a title for it soon.

Thank you. Well Matt and I locked the edit a few days back and Ive just completed the grade. Ive had some trouble with my grading interface this week. Reinstalled it all last night and its golden.

Colour and my interface werent talking to each other (recent HDD crash and repair).

Matt and I did a foley day yesterday.

Almost done. Just making some adjustments to the title sequence and credits and it's finished.

Foley session was a lot of fun, learnt a lot. Poster coming in the next couple of days. Overall really happy with how it's all looking.

I loved your dp's sarcasm. That was great! Grabs look good. Hope everything turns out well!

Yeah the kind of sarcasm that only comes from years in the industry.

Sheesh how old do you think I am?

Actually the bedroom shots were tough. Small space - heavy furniture that could not be moved and I had shots that I wanted to get in the look I wanted to get and as I said on the BTS - first time at location so I had to wing it a fair bit. Not ideal. I managed to get the look I was after from one camera angle the other was a 50/50 for me but there was quite literally no where left to go so I ended up with a bit loose 2P.

You're as old as you feel! ...and remember, the camera adds 10 years & 20 pounds....

You just described EVERY film I've ever made! LOL! Fun isn't it?
