Always keen to have help. But i really wanted to have a crack at writing this one myself. If i get stuck on the first draft i might send it your way for some help.

don't film next to an airport.... or a factory in function...
have a "talented" soundguy on the set...not "a friend who know how to hold a stick for 54056404034534534354534535343 lightyears"
Do a location visit ....including the soundguy
Switch off clocks, fridges, heaters, coolers, radio's, tv's (from neighbours), ask neighbours not to do construction works on shooting days...
or to stop during shooting and continue during preparation of the next shot.

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely get a designated sound guy. My only aim for them on set will be to get clean dialogue, all the other sounds can be added with a foley session. Sound is where most shorts tend to fall apart, so extra care will be taken here.
A little update. I know Matt is working on the script. I like where he is taking this story.
I just sent you through a rough draft, hopefully you'll still think this way after you read it.

actually untitled is pretty catchy - but it would have to be about amnesia or something like that...
Haha...no amnesia unfortunately. I've had a few ideas for titles but nothing i'm really happy with, chances are i won't know what to call it until sometime during production or post.
