How is everyone doing?

well tomorrow snow and sleet, then temps falling to -5. I just don't fell like doing anything. Maybe I should make an iPod touch short in my living room!!

I'm learning how import it's going to be to get actors who are as passionate about acting, as I am about film making. Everyone is busy....this I know, (I work 2 jobs +some side ventures)...but I still find time to shoot. Finding actors who will make the same sacrifices is going to have to be a pursuit of mine over the upcoming months/years. So....I threatened to shoot me/myself acting out all the parts....you never know....that just might happen. (Yay! ~sarcasm~)

I realized dvxfests are somewhat haunted in my case, but in a good way tho...

After/during first entry in TwilightFest I got a new job and a lot of things changed at a time on my daily basis.

Then I signed for a LossFest and suddenly got a job as video editor in another town on national TV. I didn't finished the film since i moved away but that was completly new start for me and a great oportunity.

Now, I signed for FicitionFest and since New Year I got promoted and now am working as creative producer. It's a huge change and now I'm thinking, hell, if I ever get bored or want to progress in work/whatever, I can just sign for dvxfests. Obviously films don't need to be made to fulfill that 'haunted' part. :P

Just shot the final scene today. It's the only thing we've shot though, since it's the only scene indoors, and it was 30 degrees outside with 15-20 MPH wind gusts.

well, i am at the moment sitting in a towel freshly showered, supposed to be getting a slumber, but trolling here instead.

other than that, could really use more advertisers and sponsors in NY for this year's festival, that would sure brighten my eyes a bit :)

plus my associate and i are itching to do a production, we've got the writing, directing, cinematography, equipment, etc... etc... but not the funds(same old story)

Hit a pretty big snag yesterday. Ours takes place outside, but the Oklahoma winter / wind asks for different results. So we're rewriting the script to shoot the outdoors stuff indoors. Not excited about that, but with our $5 budget, we have to take what we can.
