I get mine Thursday. I hope it's the older firmware. I originally posted this thread when I saw the low price. I already owned A Gh1 and figured I'd spread the word about the low price. Then my house got broken into last week and all my camera's got stolen. Now I find myself trying to take advantage of the deal I posted.

I missed the first $950 then I just waited then the week after it's $950 again.

For others just keep on waiting specially on Fridays, J&R makes it that price.

I had to take some dramamine from reading these posts. UPS normally comes around 8pm here so I guess I'll just have to wait aaaaarg.
 
Just wondering how to read the date base on the serial I'm looking to get one of this but need to be hackable. I'm hopping i'm not too late for the hack. the Price are 1179 now but that ok if it hackable

Do you know where this was purchased from? Since it was last Thurs. and they already have it, I am guessing it was not ordered. Anyone purchase from J&R through Amazon and not be able to run the hack?
