Collections vol.4: Mint in box

Just showed this one to my wife ... she's a sucker for comedy, so I think she liked it better than my own short, though she would never tell me that! :)
 
Moi congrats. Great job. I would love to do a scene with your lead actor (I used to work heavy in improv and he seems a very inventive performer). You guys were fantastic (to spite the Star Wars reference error, but we discussed that, it's all good, hehehe). I look forward to seeing what you do next. :)
 
let's make a clean comedy sweep of lossfest.
i liked this piece a lot -- definitely near the top of my list.

This one was fun fun fun. Lots of staying power. The gf and I watched it together, we both loved it. Afterwards I kept coughing and kissing - she was not amused. Ah so funny! And embarrassing. Lots of good cringe moments.

Solid acting, solid camerawork, solid lighting, great little story. I got no complaints. I loved the double moons, and the fact that I only got that after watching the whole thing.

Was this... done on a RED? Cause it reminds me of "45 RPM" - I think that's the title - the LoveFest short about a bet in a music store - I think it won 1st prize a couple years ago.
 
Hey man.. Great job! It was definitely a little heartbreaking to see those toys get trashed...
While more modest, I definitely have a similar collection of Star Wars paraphernalia. I still have them boxed away somewhere at my moms house.

But yeah, thanks for making a comedy... it helps lighten the heavy load of depressing films. The acting was solid. Both actors had great comedic timing. Though, at the end when the dude was trashing the toys, I thought he got a little carried away.. as he wasn't as funny as he was at the start of the film. But regardless, great job! I enjoyed it.
 
BTW, your lead... he's awesome, and something tells me he'd probably be dynamic at solid dramatic works as well. Regardless, I'd love to work with that guy some day.

TJ was a main character on ABC's Carpoolers, HUD from Cloverfield, and is going to be in Mike Judge's next movie "Extract", one of the leads in Dreamworks "She's out of my league" with Jay Baruchel, and the CG animated dreamworks feature "How to tame your dragon". I was disappointed I couldn't squeeze his footage into the 6min cut for the fest.
