Crop Hard Flash and other Transitions

Everytime I do a hardflash, I can't get it to crop down to 2:40:1,,, the crop takes up the whole monitor... Can somebody please tell me how to fix it?

Bump, if anybody can pleas tell me how to do this/ if Vegas can do this it'd really be helpful...

When I crop the image to 2:35:1 or whatever... the transaction always goes over the cropped bars...

For those, you need a physical mask over the track with the transition. You can make one with a black card from the media generator, and the bezier mask.
