There is at least one that I know of matter of fact. But I don't think he want's that attention. He want's to film and learn. He's from the USA and was a major music dude, late 30's now. But honestly I don't see the interest in celebrityism.

I've happened across a few bigshots over the years...Oscar Peterson, (young) Avril, Zarinski and Gordon Lightfoot. The kind of people that are just joe-smo people.

Celebrity. I don't know, that's a money BS game I think. Sells mags I guess.
Boosts egos and what not. Have you ever seen 'The Actors Studio'? Most of those actors are regular people. A few are idiots.

Yeah so even if there were some celebs around here so what.
Is it smoozetime now? C'mon man. Just make something interesting and we'll watch it.

I remember Bratt Pitt starring in 'Contact'. Not the feature, the short.

i am, but as soon as i get back i hope to be getting 3-4 auditions weekly. Gotta get my last actra credit, then full membership! And then i have to work on my SAG.

The only problem with montreal, is that you sometimes do get auditions for great pieces, but it's not always the parts that are the most interesting to play... Those get cast elsewhere. Bummer. I just don't want to be college guy anymore lol.
