Location for screening in NYC

Does anyone know of a good location to screen a film from digital format in NYC - I am looking for a place for a private screening but with a large true cinema theater - seating 400 or so.

any help is greatly appreciated.

You might try Anthology. I've screened there and am pretty sure they have a big house. Not sure if it's that large, but it was a full sized screen. And they are very nice people.

landmark cinemas charges $6,000 for a 300 person theater for a weeknight - how crazy is that - that is 20 dollars a person and its on a night when the theater wouldnt normally be full

just plain silly

Wow

That is an absurd price to pay for the Landmark on Houston. Granted it's a really nice theater and all but that's waaaayyyyy too much money. The Anthology is $550 for the 192 seat theater for two hours. Granted it's not the Landmark but the quality vs price difference is huge. I recently screened our movie at the Anthology on Beta SP and I do have to say it looked a lot better then I expected. We even walked away with a small profit. I'd be interested to see how much the IFC theater would be.

Sheesh.
