"Bits and Pieces" by: Justin R. Durban

AWESOME job !

It reminds me of pan's labyrinth, great lighting. I would love to see and hear more on your set designs....

Do you remember what apertures you shot at ? Also what shutter speed ?

Thanks

We shot a good majority of it with a Sigma 20mm f 1.8 Usually set between 2.0 and 2.8. The shutter speed was at 1/50 the whole shoot to closely match a 180 deg film shutter. We also used a Aashi Takumar 50mm f1.4 shot at 2.0 and a few other lenses from Tamron and Canon 85m 1.2 @ 1.2 for the night alley shot. The iso was typically 160 or 200, with a few shots @ 320. The orphanage house ISO was a little higher @ 400-640 as we were using almost exclusively natural light.

Thanks !!! And congratulations !!! You guys did a great job.

Ah I see where your crew is now.
Maybe set them of from the full list of placements, or just have your cast and crew and link to the full placement. Up to you though and how you want to present the info for a reviewer.

Thank you Jack!

In terms of the crew, do you mean put the credits in text form below the poster on the first page?

What a great short with a great story, direction, cinematography, acting and craft. Very well done guys. It looks amazing.

Thanks a lot. We do have a 340MB 1280x720p version which looks great but I am not sure if we can give out that link or not. I will PM it to you after I check with Justin.

Will this version be made available? I would love to see this awesome piece in higher resolution.
By the way, did you shoot in 720p or 1080p?

I was blown away at how the camera picked up the lighting, The less light we used, the better the image was. It was a blast to film with as the HDMI output on an external monitor was EXACTLY how I envisioned the final color corrected footage to be.

How have you set your monitor? Since the 7D has no color bars I'm finding it difficult to set the on board LCD or a set monitor so I can trust it for exposure.
By the way, what monitors did you use?
And lastly, what picture style settings?

Congrats again to all involved!
