Stu Maschwitz got his hands on some original XAVC-S slog2 3200 iso footage. Says on twitter it's fun to grade, but definitely noisy. That gives me some concerns, since Stu is one of those guys whos opinion I trust.

Stu also responded when asked how it was grading compared to the GH4:
"Only one bazillion times better."

While it does look like slog2 has more noise in shadows it has a lot better DR in highlights. I would expose the slog to the right and then bring the shadows down a bit in post and voila, you have a really nice image![]()

If it makes you feel any better...the C100 C-Log is noisy as well. There may be some NR not applied to the footage internally by choice (as I do) because I choose to be in control of that in post.
FS700 is pretty noisy too - doesn't make it in any way unusable. Honestly if if this basically is as good as the fs700 or c100, it's really kicking ass for it's size, price and size of sensor.
