Yes, it's better for FF monitor. ;)

It is not hard to solve.
You need 1/4" screw, 1/4" thumb screw (look at hot shoe to 1/4 adapters, they have two of them), and metal plate.
Fold metal plate so small part will be at 90 degrees and below monitor, make two holes. Fix plate with 1/4" screw to monitor, and use another to fix whole thing to your mount.

Yes I'll do something for this ;) thinking about hand like this.

Would this work well with the 5D, with it only outputting SD? Also is it safe to attach monitors to an arm and attach that to the cameras mount? I would worry that it would rip out the camera mount.

By idea it must work.
May be some firmware/EDID fixes will be required for better work.

Use flash bracket to mount monitor to the bracket.

You cal use more costly foldable brackets.

"is it safe to attach monitors to an arm and attach that to the cameras mount" this had been writtent by your second personality? :-)

Haha, yea I figured that's why you were recommending it to me, but I don't get why it's safer if I am still attaching the flash bracket to the mount on the camera and then the arm to the flash bracket and the monitor to the arm. Won't it still be putting the same amount of weight on the mount on top of the camera? I am probably just not understanding it correctly.

Would this work with the gh13 to get a standard def out if I used an rca to vga adaptor (it has a vga input)

THANKS
