10" 1024x600 monitor with battery and HDMI input for your upcoming GH2, $130 only

This monitor have a glare matrix not very nice for steadicam. And not very bright. But Quality/Price it's interesting alternative.

About glare matrix.
NURBS, are you sure?
On my item it LCD is pretty good, not shiny.
May be you still have sticky transparent protection on screen?

Not sure if you guys are aware of the Craig model#(clc501) 13" or 15" from CVS. i FOUND THESE ABOUT A YEAR AGO. I lost my ikan (broken) and needed a quick replacement for a shoot. I shopped local, found nothing. Then one day happened to walk in CVS, yes Cvs Pharmacy. And a monitor caught my eye, reason it had , hdmi, component, composite, vga, coax ins. Plus audio, and headphones. Price was 100.00 for a 15". (SAW THE 13" FOR 88.00 THIS WEEK) So I bought it. it is 12 volt dc, ebay cheap 12v battery runs it for 6hrs. Or you can even run it off your car lighter. IT DOES 720 P. iT IS very versatile for the cost, it has many features to adjust it's picture. It weighs about nothing, seriously it's about the same weight as a lilliput with battery in it. SUPER LIGHT. Oh yeah, if you buy, make sure to get the matte finish LCD,It is much better for out door use, and has almost no glare. I posted this on hv20com last year, and many people bought them and were pleased at the picture for such a low price., their a decent monitor for cheap money.

I removed the base stand, and replaced with a 6" metal tube, now I can attatch it to any stand with a gobo.

13" or 15" monitors are quite different breed :-)
Plus 10" konsta monitor is ready to run solution, with 1/4" mount and battery.

I couldn't agree more. I was just throwing the info out there in case someone might be interested in knowing there's a cheap monitor in an emergencyy situation.lol, I didn't mean to highjack your thread, my apolagies.

I like the internal battery.

But seriously, do we have any idea what HDMI modes it'll run? A list of EDIDs it recognises would be the best and most specific information, but I'll take what I can get.

Hm, I wonder if it could be combined with one of those wireless HDMI extenders. I suspect they're not that good, but it's a fun idea.

Is this a good beginner model? Or is it worth it to spend $400+ for a marshall?

You can look at SmallHD monitor. Not at Marshall.
And for $130-140 it is steal. Plus it is good addition to SmallHD (as second monitor for your client or focus fuller).

Thanks Vitaliy, I see those SmallHD's are pretty spendy, do you think it's safe to use this monitor - the one the thread is about - as the primary?

Yes I too unscrewed case and find it: LCD: BT101/W02 10.1 LCD Screen same as ACER One ;) Monitor inside not perfect, cheap china work. :violin:
