I agree with several other posters, that shot looks really great. With a little CC it'll be just fine. I think the door frames are a tad to bright and diffuse a otherwise perfect composition but that's a pretty easy fix in post. While you're at it you could up the contrast and colours in the...
OK, my name isn't tflak but here's a example from my GH1 with a Canon FD 35mm f/2.0 @ 2.8 roughly 7 feet away from the guy in the middle. The film it's from - "The Farmer's Flea Market" - can be found in my sig link. It was shot last year so this is before the GH13 hack.
Guess I should post my new commercial here as well as it's shot with a hacked GH1 but please comment in this thread:

Larz-Kristerz and Sony Music were so happy with my last years effort for them that they asked me to do the commercial for their new album "Små ord av guld" (Small Words of Gold). Uploaded in 1080 so the full HD Quicktime file is available for members. The fourth song was shot at 720p to avoid...

August 29th, 2009 a flea market was arranged on Bondegatan (Farmer Street) in Stockholm. I took a walk along the over one kilometer long stretch with my brother and his family filming friends and strangers alike.

While I'm not that interested in this one myself I thought somebody might be. The russian Peleng 8mm fish-eye is now available with a micro four thirds mount from various resellers on eBay such as this one*...
Just looked through the Register's review of G2 and lo-and-behold - the touchscreen focusing actually works in video mode, ie: you can click on a object in the frame and the camera refocusses to that. It's not absolutely perfect according to the text in the review but hey, goddarn cool anyway...
Said to be released on 1st of March. Pricing TBA, probably less than the Voightländer Noctilux.

and they are planning more super fast lenses with m4/3 mounts.
I'm not into them myself but I stumbled across this link at the GH1 group on Vimeo.

Guess the ones made for 1" chips shouldn't vignette that bad. They have a 25mm f/0.95 and seems willing to listen to custom demands.
HD Warrior had a surprise choice
I was bit surprised of this as Philip Johnston who runs the blog has been pretty negative to the whole idea of HDSLRs and I thought that GH1 wouldn't even blip on his radar.
And with this I wish you all a Happy New Year!
I'm no diver myself but I accidently found this underwater house and as I've not seen a posting about it I thought it might be of use to somebody. My japanese is a bit rusty so I can't give any info about it except this link

This showed up in my inbox today. Now imagine replacing that POVCAM head with one that has a micro Four Third sensor and mount.

Vimeo had a little weekend fun asking for video haikus and I had a whack at it. I've never written haikus or any kind of poetry for that matter before (unless punk rock texts counts but they weren't that poetic) so this was a bit above my level of competence :beer...
Just found on Vimeo the famed test film that Birns & Sawyer LA commisioned which is shoot with all the above cameras and intercut. It's the version with camera info for each cut, the one without doesn't seem to be available. Sorry if it's been posted here already - did search here but couldn't...
