Hello Dvxusers. I've been tasked with streaming a live event to a room next door. The live event is a funeral with a speaker at a podium. I'm needing help with what type of setup I will need for both audio and video. The rooms are 100ft apart.
I'm assuming a camera with SDI output that can...
Is there a difference in video quality between 10bit and 12bit under export settings? I am using a Canon C100 to film the footage. The C100 is an 8bit camera so is there any relationship between the export setting and the camera bit rate?
My client wants highest footage possible but at...
I found this guy's reel and I believe that it's amazing. What do I have to learn to do them? I'll list some of the things that I think are easy to learn first.

10 seconds, no idea...
I need a lens recommendation for the A7S II. I want to put the lens on my Pilotfly H2 Gimbal and need something light weight. I own the 24-70mm G master but it's too heavy. So my requirements are light weight, telephoto, auto focus, and full frame. Sometimes I want to record in 4k and only...
Someone told me that this question is better suited for here.
I had a second shooter for this wedding and I believe he was using an A7S in log mode because there's barely any color in the original footage. How do I fix the purple rings around the spotlights? I want to make the edges softer...

I just finished rewatching Batman vs Superman and I'm curious if anyone knows. How did they achieve the portrait lens look? It was used throughout most of the movie. Was it the focal length or maybe it was the resolution in combination with a focal length? Most of the scenes has a tight look...
I need help on fixing my footage. I wanted to do slow motion and shot everything in 60p but forgot to change my shutter speed from 1/50 to 1/120. So I filmed everything at 60p with 1/50 shutter. Now when I slow the footage down, it looks jittery. Is there a way to fix this, the jittering...
I remember reading somewhere that if you record with the internal 4k sensor in the A7S II, that there would be a huge black circle when using a crop sensor. Is this true? I just tested the Sigma 18-35 with a metabones on my A7S II and I'm not getting any vignette. This is a good thing...
Figured you guys might want to see this. I filmed this a while ago and a lot of it was shot at 16,000 ISO. The only parts that I can remember for sure using 16,000 ISO is with the band playing and people sitting around watching the band, basically time 1 minute to 2 minutes were all 16,000 ISO...
I'm doing my first short film and I need some help with lighting! Below are my two main actors and they are sitting inside of the restaurant that we will be filming in. It's a horror story. I will be filming on a Sony A7S II and a Canon C100 MK II. I need some white balance tips, that would...
How do you guys prevent this? It seems like the only time I ever notice dust on the sensor is when I get home and view it on my computer. How do I prevent this? Should I make it standard practice to go to F16 and blow out my highlights with a high ISO before i start filming? Does that work?
I want to invest in some lights and need some suggestions. My max budget is 3k and that's stretching it. So I was thinking about getting one of the Kino Flo Diva kits.
My lights would be used for weddings, interviews, music videos, and small budget feature films.
I need to do an interview next week and the job requires a wireless handheld microphone. Which receiver and microphone would you guy suggest that invest in? I might rent the system if possible first.
