C100: Can you recommend a wirless handheld system for C100?

I need to do an interview next week and the job requires a wireless handheld microphone. Which receiver and microphone would you guy suggest that invest in? I might rent the system if possible first.

For a one time gig just rent. No sense in spending the coin on purchase unless it is an ongoing deal. Probable under $100 for a weeks rental. Might be able to work a deal with a local rental shop if you only need for a day.

We like this standard Sennheiser for a good, reliable hand-held wireless.....

and this for a more higher end with multiple applications....

I'm not sure I'd call the AVX kit "higher end" than the standard G3 setup. The AVX is easier to use if you're a wireless newbie, but the G3 gear has a much better range if you know what you're doing.

I toyed with the idea of trading in my G3s for some AVX gear, but I ended up kiboshing that when I actually used and AVX kit. Battery life is terrible, no way to defeat the automatic level control, and it had a weird MP3-compression sound on the high end. Love the tiny little receiver though. I'd kill for a G3-performance kit with that receiver (and longer battery life).

Well said from experience.......

I just bought the G3. The digital units (AVX, Rodelink, Audio-Technica System 10) have some nice advantages, but in terms of overall performance from what I've read it seems the standard G3 units still have the edge.
