I'm getting ready for doing an edit list (edl) and I have sequences where the main v1 track has the opacity way down etc and then the b-roll shots on v2 tracks and higher when superimposing. Should I edit my v2 tracks down onto the v1 track to make for a cleaner edl?

In my trash I find clapboard icons named fcp-07-09-06_1200 and so forth. There's lots of them. Can I trash them or are they important somehow?

Is there an automatic button or something in fcp so that I can have the same countdown on my project as when I edit to tape. I'm going to be exporting my audio omf for a professional mix and I need sync marks for all my tracks. Probably just end sync marks but possibly front ones as well. Thanks.
