So I'm thinking of making the jump to Sony Vegas suite with hitfilm. Just wondering from those that uses these programs, would the upgrade be worth it? Does hitfilm work well with vegas?

Just wanted to ask if anyone that edited with sony vegas, and made the switch to final cut X, How steep was the learning curve? I tried the trial several years ago but i just couldnt get a handle on it, but I've heard its gotten alot better. Any thoughts?

every time i try to render out to and uncompressed quicktime file vegas tells me its a unsupported format, any ideas why it would do that? I've tried using an older version of quicktime(7.6.2) but still says the same thing,

hey guys, I have an older 3ccd consumer cam that i use for a B cam but was wondering if there is a better camcorder that i could use. i was thinking maybe a Canon vixia HF model that would give me 24p and 30p and high def. would these be a good b cam? thanks
