I put together 3 hr movie and was going to put it on a Dual layer DVD, i used the DVD NSTC template to render to an Mpeg2 file, i also lowered the variable bit rate to about 5,200,000 and checked the "two pass" box, after the render i watched the movie and notice the screen would go black for about 5 seconds in certain spots throughout the video but the audio was fine throughout the movie. It didnt do this on the original movie so I'm wonder if i lowered the Bit rate too much or did i use the wrong templete, any thoughts?
