How can I get a final cut pro file from a client onto my PC workstation!? Any advice? (Previously with smaller files I created a Photo JPEG .mov on the mac and transferred it to the PC via USB flash drive..)

OK so I bought a new computer with 64 bit vista, ram, etc.. I installed Media Composer 3.0.5 and Quicktime 7.4.5 and everything installed perfect! Once I try to open Avid, half way through start up it crashes and says it cannot open the software! Any ideas?

Im trying to get Boris Continuum Complete for AVX 1.5 to install with Media composer. Each time I install it it stops media composer and says to install from the original CD, which I am doing. I thought in the past I may have needed a patch or something but I cant find anything

About to film the final scenes tonight for a short film titled "Samaritan". I did everything in 1080/24pa, and now need to use Raylight to make true 24p files. Has anyone done this already? Just wondering if it is fast or takes a while to do, workflow, etc. thanks, Eric

I'm about to film a short tomorrow and my friend showed up with the EX-1. The quality and lens in far superior to the HVX which I have. I'd like to shoot the film on the EX-1, but I'm worried about compatibility with Avid. Will it work, in any way? Xpress Pro 5.7.1 -Eric
