Eric Papa Well-known member Jul 29, 2009 #5 1. What is the freebie tool? 2. Does FCP have DNxHD codecs built in? From what I read the hard drive show be formatted to FAT32 for true compatibility on both platforms. I've been thinking this morning and I think the best method might be data BLU-RAY DISC of 25GB or 50GB!

FCP does not have DNxHD built in, but it is freely downloadable here: http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/selfservice/search.jsp?DocId=263545 (bottom of the page) Formatting FAT32 will give compatibility on both systems, but no file can be over 4GB in size if you do that. That is the killer limitation.
