I have a M2 adapter and HD achromat with step down ring for HVX. Perfect condition on everything. $399 + shipping. Peace!

would this work with my hvx right away or would I have to buy some kind of kit to get it to fit? and can I use my nikon lenses with this one?
 
This set up was used on my HVX, so yes its all the correct components an would work right out of the box. You would want to get a small rail system for it, there are some cheap ones in the marketplace.

The mount is for EF lenses (Redrock calls them EOS)
 
you know for anyone looking into buying the encore and are thinking of passing this up, the encore upgrade is $500 i think so this would come out to $900 as opposed to the $1000 from the site for the encore, also the #1000 from redrock doesn't come with an achromat like this one does! good luck on your sale
 
Nick- do you have EF lenses, or plan to use them?
I'm trying to find out how it is working with them, with no aperture control.

I have no EF lenses...I'm gonna be doing a whole series of things with this adapter...I'll prolly buy a single EF, and I'll be sure to post somewhere about it.

Differences with other products? I'd look up videos on all the adapters you are looking at and try your best to compare.
