Calls From The Führerbunker

Thinking of adding this in with the other guard scene where he is watching Chris through the monitors. That and the bathroom scene should help tie this all together.

No, music, no foley, no ambiance, dirty sound. :)
it will end up being much better than this.

Let me know what you think. I'm not set on it... might help break things up a bit towards the middle though. The monitoring scene in my signature is definitely going in.

Mike

Definitely the 'boogey man' scene is hilarious and would make the existence of the guard in the bathroom more understandable.

THIS scene establishes that, but I agree, the joke scene might help even further. We'll see. :)

that's a cool little snippet in there. Will be cool to see in the DC
Thanks. I'm putting in the monitor scene linked above, still not sure about the other one. I'll wait until it has good sound and music, then I'll decide. Maybe Herman and Rutger can make it work.

I watched both scenes, the 'mopping' scene and the 'boogey man' scene. Or one or the other or both scenes would establish it, but the 'boogey man' scene give the audience also entertainment and not only information. :Drogar-Love(DBG):

I'll have to see it all together to be sure. I just don't want it to stand out as odd.

Finding the proper spot to place it will also be key.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ian is fabulous again. I think I am going to have to start a fan club.

Mike, interesting story. I really like the black and white. It gives the movie a lot more depth. I didn't understand the swearing though. It turned me off a bit. The old man was terrific. You will need to give me some pointers on casting because you sure know how to pick 'um. The location was awesome as well!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
I'll pass on the praise to Ian and Johni.

Glad you liked the B&W as well.

BTW, I think If I heard a cryptic call from the past that involved Hitler, my first words would be... "You've got to be F*cking kidding me!?"

Ian nailed the delivery.

PS- John and I exchanged PM's about Barn Dance and CFTFB. Good luck in the Fest.

Cheers,

Mike

Mike, I'm at work, so I can't look at the vimeo clip, but I'll check it out when I get home. Are you thinking about adding this scene, because someone said something about the bathroom scene with the guard being out of place?

No. I always had a longer cut in mind and this stuff was in the script.
I always write with the 6 minute limit in mind but I know that the pacing of the edit will be quicker than what I want the end result to be.

The DC will allow me to slow things down a bit and show more of the bunker. Including the inhabitants.

Cheers,

Mike

Oh, I see. I just remembered reading a thread where a couple of people were talking about being confused about Chris' run-in with the security guard in the bathroom. Why he was aggravated, but it made sense to me. Anyway, look forward to the DC. I'm sure I'll have mine up and running around the same time.

Nah, it was always part of the script and the reason why I have more footage in the can.
