WHERE THE HEART LIES ... Johnson, Hyten, Golden & Bullis

hey mark, why are these 16:9 you lazy bastard.

Bunny: I'll suck your c*** for a thousand dollars.
Matty G.: (forced laughter) Hahahahaha! Wonderful woman. We're all, we're all very fond of her. Very free-spirited.
Bunny: Matty can't watch, though, or he has to pay a hundred.
Matty G: Ahahaha. That's marvellous.
The Dude: Uh, I'm just gonna go find a cash machine.

Hey guys!

Reports from the Fatty's are sound great! And the grabs look sweet! Good for you guys!

Congrats on the progress. Looking forward to the film!

btw, I am SO ENVIOUS of your location!!! I totally recognize the place and the incredible view!

Great work, boyz!

Ted,

We catered a nice dinner in the kitchen/dining area for the cast and crew. Dennis and Suzanne joined us and both said that they wished you and Diane were here again. I did pass on to them that you sent greetings and they said you need only call ahead the next time you are in L.A. and they'll have your bedroom ready!

The most phenomenal thing about those grabs is that the views are 100% real. There was no green-screening and that, alone, bumps the production value of your short ten-fold.

Unbelievable images, guys. Geoff has a very very good eye and I'm envious that you get to work with such a talented guy. Don't even get me started with your cast, either... what a great looking bunch of people.

Dennis and Suzanne are gracious hosts and incredibly generous friends, Mark. I'd give anything in this world to sustain such a close relationship with people like them. Send along my best to them and let them know that when things get messy, loud, and obnoxious during the shoots... that "I told them so". What do you expect from a bunch of crazy filmmakers?

Oh, and do me favor and pitch out all those malt-ball beverages from the fridge. Gross.

But in all seriousness, guys. Great work. You'll be putting me to shame.

Reisner tearin' shiet up as usual. B.Press Krew WEST SIDE! (I actually think they were shootin' Cine-V. But, still.)

Mark wrote and performed a little ditty for Ana. He was exceedingly proud of having rhymed "surgeon" with "sturgeon."

Thanks and, indeed, it was a fabulous time. Yesterday it was a little tense as we elected to steal a shot at a particular location. I took Bullis and Ian (sound) to a bar while the rest of the team shot and I got hammered on Dewars while all the time expecting a phone call from Tim telling me to come deal with the authorities.

Here's a shot of Marc Shrem and Mark Johnson at rehearsals. Note the ever present adult beverage by Mark's leg..

Kholi did a great job shooting some really nice BTS. It was a pleasure having him on set.

How'd that Indieslider work for you guys? I won one in hallowfest, haven't used it yet, but it seems like it'd work real well.
