Top 5 must have lens for a GH1?

just got my Olympus 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 II and am already loving it!
makes my gh1 a real working video camera again, like my hmc150. the AF is fast, faster than the 20mm by a lot. what i love most about the lens though is the electronic manual focus is so easy and smooth to adjust that all it takes is a light touch of a single finger to pull focus. also just like my old hmc150's focus wheel. the range and speed are perfect for my regular broll-heavy documentary/commercial shoots.
and its a perfect heft to balance the light gh1 body. makes the camera feel like a real still camera!
WOuld love to see some footage on this

Interests are 70% video, 30% still. Shoot inside and out.
So I plan on getting/have these 3 lenses :
pan 140-140mm kit
pan 20mm f1.7
slr magic 12mm f1.6

what ECONOMICAL lens would you add to this list ?
Seems like maybe i am missing a cheap portrait lens - 50mm 1.4? or something else?

you got it. a cheap Canon FD 50mm f1.4 would round out your kit nicely.

i'd also recommend a good wide-zoom like the Oly 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 II as a great all-around lens. the panny 14-140 has a great range and i love to take it on vacations, but it's waaay too slow for any indoor minimal lighting situations.

I wouldn't bother with that one, unless you already have it. The range is a bit short and the minimum f3.5 too slow. You want the fastest glass you can afford and f3.5 is not 'fast' by any standard. Look for zooms with f2.8 as a minimum.

are there different mount versions of this lens, i see it described differently.
is this a workable version ( I assume a 4/3 to micro 4/3 adapter needed)?

I was just wondering how the 25mm f1.4 lumix compared to the 20mm?

I would like to buy one of these but really am uncertain. Also the 5mm difference isn't a factor for me.

If you like manual glass Samyang is coming out with a 25mm 1.4 around Feb/March. I have their 85mm and have heard great things about their 35mm. Great glass for the price.

No one using GH1/2 with SIGMA 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro?!?

That lens would be a bit slow for some people's taste.
Many people are shooting with primes that are 2-3 stops faster that have a more suitable focus throw for focus pulling.
The 17-70mm is seen as a good upgrade for amateur stills photographers who only have a kit lens. I've never come across anyone shooting video with it.

I watched very nice results with this lens on t2i, so is it really needless on GH1 even manually controlled? Please, tell me more!

What I mean generally is if there are issues like vignettes, tilts, blurs, unable to infinity focus, etc. when used on GH1.

Thanks, I'll definitely have to check this out. I am however interested in the previous two I mentioned for their autofocus capabilities when taking stills.

I also have heard great things about the Samyang 35mm f1.4 and it seemed quite nice.

It'll vignette less than it does on the Canons. Assuming you have a reasonable quality mount adapter I can't imagine there being any issues with infinity focus.
I'm not sure what you mean by "tilts, blurs" though.
