The World Cup starts today!

It looks like the octopus was right........oh well they just rescheduled the tv series that I watch every Wednesday to talk about football for two hours....damn football league....

España!!!!

I'm not Spanish, but Spain is the closest thing I'm going to get to Mexico winning the world cup. In all honesty, whoever wins I'll be happy. Both have been incredible this tournament, and since neither have won before both deserve it in my opinion. It'll be a good game.

I have worked in a spanish tapas restaurant as a cook. We had pulpo on the menu. That is something like what was in your link. One difference in preparing/recipe people might enjoy, was the fact that I was instructed to beat the (dead) octopus with a large wooden spoon, all over. (It suposed to make the flesh more soft when cooked.)

So Paul knows what's comming if Spain doesn't win (they know the recipe).

(But so do some Dutch...)
